The Story Behind This Collection
I grew up walking the trails of Northwestern Ontario, learning the names of our flora, fauna, and fungi. Embracing all four seasons along the shores of Lake Superior, I've spent a lifetime quietly observing the wildlife that calls this region home. As both an educator and a naturalist, I believe the most important lesson we can offer our children is a deep and abiding respect for the natural world.
That's why I'm drawn to the vintage art of our region — it features the same wild neighbours I've cherished since childhood.
